Finally, Whatapp rolled out disappearing message feature for all devices (Andriod, IOS & Desktop). This feature automatically deletes messages or files after seven days of sending it. Disappearing feature is available on individual chat and group chat. In individual chat person choose to enable or disable disappearing message wherein group chat admin will have control
How to Enable disappearing messages
- Open Whatsapp and click on any chat
- Tap on person profile ( Contact Name)
Next, tap on disappearing messages option, a Pop up appears click on the continue
- Now select on Turn on disappearing message for particular chat (Note: You need to turn on individually for each person)
- Go back to chat window and you will find a new disappering messages logo on the profile
