HYDERABAD: To ensure the non sop availability and supply of oxygen to critical coronavirus cases and other emergencies, Telangana government is currently sending the empty oxygen trucks to Odisha by using airplanes. Telangana Health Minister Etela Rajender is supervising the process of airlifting of empty oxygen tankers from Begumpet airport to Odisha using army cargo aircrafts. IT Minister KTR has has complimented Health Minister For the unique initiative.
The cargo planes will reach Odisha and the empty oxygen trucks will be filled with oxygen at the Tata Steel Plant in Kalinganagar, and will be reach to Hyderabad, said Health Minister. He said that this initiative will save three days of transportation time to get oxygen to the state and will save the valuable lives of many people. KTR said that it is the first time in India that Oxygen trucks were airlifted.
