UPSC Prelims 2020: COVID-19 Rules For Students Appearing For UPSC Prelims 2020 Examination

NEW DELHI: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will held the Civil Services Preliminary Examination across the country From Today, October 4. More than 10 lakh candidates have applied for the Civil Services Examination 2020.

According to reports, The examination for UPSC Prelims 2020 will be held at 2,569 centers across 72 cities in the country. Initially the preliminary examination 2020 was scheduled to be held on  May 31, but later it was postponed to October 4 due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.

UPSC prelims 2020 would  be conducted on October 4 in two shifts, first shift from 9:30 am to 11:30 am and the second from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm.

Meanwhile the students will be allowed into the examination center only 10 minutes before the commencement of the exam i.e 09:20 am for the first shift exam and 02:20 pm in the afternoon shift.

COVID-19 Rules for Students Appearing For  UPSC Prelims 2020 Examination

  1. In View of coronavirus outbreak, It is mandatory for all the students taking the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination to wear a mask before entering the premises of examination centre
  2. Candidates can also carry the sanitisers in transparent bottles to the examination hall.
  3. Any students without a mask,  will not be given entry into the examination center.
  4. Candidates have to follow social distancing everywhere in the premises of examination centre.
  5. All the candidates must carry their photo ID card, for appearing in the examination.
