Even Andhra Pradesh’s Visakhapatnam Rushikonda beach was one of the safest and beautiful beaches to visit.

In the very first attempt made by India , eight beaches across the country were accredited with the ‘Blue Flag’ eco-label. This Blue Flag certification is generally given to beaches which are good four categories of water quality, environmental management, environmental education and safety.

Other seven Blue Flag certification Beaches In India includes Ghoghla (Diu), Shivrajpur (Dwarka-Gujarat), Kasarkod and Padubidri (Karnataka), Kappad (Kerala), Radhanagar (Andaman &Nicobar Islands), and Golden Beach (Puri-Odisha).

1) Visakhapatnam Rushikonda Beach

Rushikonda Beach in Andhra Pradesh is one of the picture perfect beaches in India. It is located just 8 kms away from Visakhapatnam city and attracts nature lovers in huge numbers.

This beach is surrounded by greenery and the best place to play all the water games. Rushikonda beach has golden sands and tidy waves of Bay of Bengal.

 2) Ghoghla Beach In Gujarat

This Ghoghla is located in the village Ghoghla and is 631 km away from the main city of Diu in Gujarat. It is the most clean bridge in Gujarat and very famous for its splendid view.

The golden sands in this sea attracts tourists with waves of the Arabian Sea constantly rising high.

3) Shivrajpur Beach in Dwarka

Shivrajpur Beach is also one of the most watched beaches in Gujarat. This beach is at a distance of 12 kms from Dwarka city. 

Shivrajpur Beach looks most beautiful with clear water and white sand. Dolphins and some beautiful birds can also be seen at times on this beach.

4) Kappad Beach Kerala

Kappad Beach is located 16 km away from Kozhikode of Kerala. This beach is one of the most serene beaches in India and it was discovered by the Portuguese explorer Vasco Da Gama during 15thcentury.

This beach is surrounded by beautiful coconut trees and looks picture perfect.

5) Radhanagar Beach Andaman & Nicobar Islands

 Radhanagar Beach Andaman is one of the most famous tourist attractions in Havelock Island of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

This beach has the most white sand and most clear water. 

6) Golden Beach Puri Odisha

Puri beach is one of the most peaceful and beautiful beaches in India and Jagannath Temple is located along the coast of puri beach.

It’s a picturesque natural beach on the coast of Bay of Bengal.

7) Kasarkod Beach and Padubidri Beach

Kasarkod beach is located near the Honnavar in Uttara Kannada district of Karnataka that was awarded a blue flag tag along with Padubidri.

It is one of the most beautiful beaches which has bagged Blue Flag certification.
