KRISHNA DISTRICT: In a tragic incident, a 27-year-old Telugu girl from Andhra Pradesh died after she accidentally fell into a waterfall while taking a selfie at Bald River Falls in the US.
According to reports, the deceased telugu woman was identifies as Polavarapu Kamala, a native of Gudlavalleru, Krishna district, Andhra Pradesh went to US after completing her Btech in India. She was pursing her studied in MS in Us and working in Columbia.
Kamala and her finace was reportedly visited her relatives’ house in Columbia on saturday and stopped at a Bald river waterfall near Atlanta while returning her house after visiting relatives and couple slipped and fell into the waterfall while taking selfie.
While locals had saved him, Ms Kamala was reportedly carried away with the flow of water. The rescue team who began search operation for her ended recovering her dead body from the river stream.
While the North America Telugu Society (NATS) are making arrangements to bring her body to India. Kamala’s parents were shocked to hear the news and expressed concern over the death of their daughter.
