Telangana Secretariat To Have A Bullet Proof Protection In A 700 Crore Budget

HYDERABAD: After the state cabinet led by Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao approved the design for the new complex, now the construction of the state-of-the-art integrated secretariat complex are being carried out at a fast phase.

The state government had reportedly sanctioned Rs 700 crore for the construction works of this new Secretariat complex. The officials are taking proper care in biding this new Secretariat building in proper Vastu along with ultra-modern facilities.

In the allotted budget of Rs 700 crore for the new secretariar only Rs 200 crore will be spent on interior and officials decided to use foreign furniture for the entire secretariat. Interestingly the CM Chamber in the Secretariat is planned to be constructed with fully bulletproof protection with a budget of Rs 50 crore.

This decision was taken by state government to avoid any threat to the life of CM through this bulletproof protection for CM’s chamber no one will be able to attack him in any way or engage in any kind of aggression.

The Secretariat will be build in an area of ​​25 acres with 6 lakh square feet of seven floors. Arrangements can be made to park thousands of vehicles. At the same time, Telangana government had given much importance for greenery. Designs are being made nationally for landscaping.
