HYDERABAD: Amid rising coronavirus cases now Telangana government headed by Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) has taken decision to temporarily shut down all the schools, colleges and all educational institutions except medical colleges in the state from Tomorrow, March 24.
As per teh decision of state government all the schools, Colleges including gurukul schools, government and private educational institutions to remain closed temporarily. The state government is left out with no option other than closing schools and colleges temporarily as more than 100 students were tested positive for the past one week across different schools in the state. Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy announced that in view of rising COVID 19 cases among students, considering the health of students and teachers, and to contain COVID-19 schools and colleges will remain temporarily as a precautionary measure. Meanwhile students will have online classes as earlier.
