HYDERABAD: Telangana witnessing a steep rise in coronavirus cases for the past few days has reported more than 1,000 Coronavirus cases today, April 3. The state’s COVID-19 tally crosses 3,10,819 with 1,078 new cases added in the past 24 hours. The death toll went up to 1,712, with four six new fatalities.
According to the health bulletin released by the state health department on today, there are currently 6,900 active COVID-19 patients who were infected with the virus. A total of 331 persons have been recovered from the coronavirus in the past 24 hours pushing the total number of recoveries in the state to 3,02,207. The Telangana government had intensified the COVID-19 tests in the state and tested 59,705 samples from Thursday to Friday. Out of which 1,078 turned out to be positive. So far Telangana has tested 1, 03, 29, 95 samples since the outbreak of pandemic.
Hyderabad is witnessing a surge in coronavirus cases for the past few days and is in danger zone with alarming trend in daily reporting cases, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) reported 283 cases on April 3.
