HYDERABAD: Telangana coronavirus cases surpassed the 1,50,00 mark with 2,534 new COVID-19 cases reported on Thursday, With this the cumulative coronavirus cases in the state rose to 1,50,176 .
The death toll went up to 927, with new 11 deaths reported on September 10.
According to the health bulletin released by the state health department today, a total of 1,17,143 persons have been recovered from the coronavirus in the state till date.
The Telangana government had increased the number of COVID-19 tests in the state and tested 63,017 samples between Tuesday and Wednesday, and a total of 19,53,571 samples were tested in Telangana since the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus.
After 1,17,143 recovered from the virus in the past 24 hours, there are currently 32,106 active COVID-19 patients who were infected with the virus.
Out of the fresh cases reported in the state, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation contributes the highest coronavirus cases with 327 cases reported in the last 24 hours till Thursday morning. Followed by Rangareddy with 195 cases, while Medchal reported 132 cases.
