HYDERABAD: Telangana reported 2,392 Coronavirus cases on Tuesday, With this the cumulative coronavirus cases in the state rose to 1,45,163. The death toll went up to 906, with 11 new cases reported on September 8.
According to the health bulletin released by the state health department today, a total of 2,346 persons have been recovered from the coronavirus in the past 24 hours pushing the total number of recoveries in the state to 1,12,587 till date.
The recovery rate in Telangana is 77.5 per cent same as the country’s COVID-19 recovery rate.

The Telangana government had increased the number of COVID-19 tests in the state and tested 60,923 samples between Sunday and Monday, and a total of 18,27,905 samples were tested in Telangana since the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus. But the test reports of 1,606 samples are awaited.
After 2,346 recovered from the virus in the past 24 hours, there are currently 31,670 active COVID-19 patients who were infected with the virus. Out of which 24,579 patients are undergoing treatment in home quarantine and the rest 7,091 patients are in institutional care.
Out of the fresh cases reported in the state, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation contributes the highest coronavirus cases with 304 cases reported in the last 24 hours till Wednesday morning. Followed by Ragareddy with 191 cases, while Karimnagar reported 157 cases.
