HYDERBAD: Telangana reported 2,103 Coronavirus cases on Wednesday, With this the cumulative coronavirus cases in the state rose to 1,91,386. The death toll went up to 1,127, with 11 new deaths reported on September 30.
According to the health bulletin released by the state health department today, a total of 2,243 persons have been recovered from the coronavirus in the past 24 hours pushing the total number of recoveries in the state to 1,60,933 till date.
The recovery rate in Telangana is 84.08 per cent as against the country’s recovery rate of 83.27 per cent.
The Telangana government had conducted COVID-19 tests on 55,359 samples between Monday and Tuesday, and a total of 29,96,001 samples were tested in Telangana since the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus. But the test reports of 975 samples are awaited.
After 2,243 recovered from the virus in the past 24 hours, there are currently 29,326 COVID-19 patients who were infected with the virus.
Out of the fresh cases reported in the state, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation contributes the highest coronavirus cases with 298 cases reported in the last 24 hours till Wednesday morning. Followed by Medchal with 176 cases, while RangaReddy reported 172 cases.
