HYDERABAD: Telangana COVID-19 tally crossed 3 lakh mark on Tuesday, with 412 new cases reported in the past 24 hours and total COIVD-19 infected cases in the state rose to 3,03,867. The death toll went up to 1,674, with 3 new fatalities reported on March 23.
According to the health bulletin released by the state health department on today, a total of 216 persons have been recovered from the coronavirus in the past 24 hours pushing the total number of recoveries in the state to 2,99,042. Telangana government had intensified the COVID-19 tests in the state and tested 68,171 samples between Monday and Tuesday.
After 2,99,042 recovered from the virus, there are currently 3,151 active COVID-19 patients who were infected with the virus. Out of which 1,285 of the patients are undergoing treatment in home quarantine / institutional care. Out of the freshly reported 412 new case Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) constitutes the highest with 103 cases.
