HYDERABAD: After the death of legendary singer SP Balasubrahmanyam some rumors went viral on social media stating that Balasubrahmanyam ‘s family were unable to pay teh hospital bills which accounted more than Rs 3 crore and the MGH hospital had refused them to take the body if they fail to repay the bills.
SP Balasubrahmanyam’s Son Charan refutes the allegation over his father’s bill payment and said that the treatment bills were regularly paid in every week.
He even had wholeheartedly thanked MGH hospital staff for trying their level best to save his father SP Balasubrahmanyam. SP Charan said that the allegations over the non payment of hospital bills for the 50 days are completely false.

Even after my father passed away we had asked doctors over the pending bills, but the Chairman had directed the management to forgo the rest of the charges for treatment given to father, said SP Charan
Even though SP Charan did not disclose the amount of the bill, he reiterated that the hospital was very friendly, supportive, and helpful to his family. He added that “our family is grateful to the hospital.”
SP Charan also clarified over his approach to the state government and said that “I had reached out to the Health Secretary a few days prior to fathers’ death, only to clarify the government’s statement in which they had said that they were willing to offer any kind of help to the family”. He also added that he was not sure if it was meant financially.
