Singer SP Balasubrahmanyam Health Condition Extremely Critical Says MGH Doctors

CHENNAI: The condition of 74-year-old renowned singer SP Balasubrahmanyam, who is admitted to MGM Health Care hospital in Chennai on August 5 for COVID19 treatment, has worsened again. He remains critical and on life support. Even Music director S thaman tweeted the health bulletin of Balasubrahmanyam and wished him speedy recovery.

The health condition of SP Balasubrahmanyam further worsened in the past 24 hours and he was on maximum ventilator support  after his condition further deteriorated, the  MGM Healthcare hospital doctors had released a health bulletin to this extent on Thursday, September 24.

SP Balasubrahmanyam had been admitted to  MGM Healthcare on August 5 after he had tested positive for the coronavirus and has been battling for his life since then.  But now in the past 24 hours his health condition has deteriorated further and he was breathing with difficulty through maximum ventilator support.

A team of expert doctors of MGM hospital are closely monitoring his health condition. Meanwhile two days ago his son SP Charan said that Balasubrahmanyam  was slowly recovering and his health condition is coming back to normal. Charan also said that his father is receiving physiotherapy with oral intake of liquids.

But the latest health bulletin says that he is in very critical condition. Let’s pray for his recovery. He had sung more than 40,000 songs in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada and other languages.
