HYDERABAD: Tollywood actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu is all set to make her entry into Bollywood. The latest update is that Samantha is acting in a Pan India movie under the direction of female director Nandini Reddy.
Samantha is currently acting in a key role in the web series ‘Family Man’ airing on Amazon Prime. She is also full packed with movies, Samtha had also signed a movie under the direction of Ashwin Saravanan. The film is scheduled to start shooting in March but has been postponed due to Coronavirus.
As this movie is getting delayed, Samantha will be doing her next film with Lady Director Nandini Reddy and this film is being produced by Sony Pictures. Already Samantha had worked with Nandini Reddy for ‘Oh Baby’ which is a good hit.
Naga Chaitanya will be doing a guest role in the upcoming film directed by Nandini Reddy. Naga Chaitanya gave a special appearance in the movie Oh Baby. Most of the films starring Samantha and Chaitanya in the past have been very successful. With this, their fans are hopeful that the film will also be a great success.
The Sony Pictures production company has planned a Pan India film with Samantha in the horror thriller jonar. The film was originally supposed to be directed by Saravanan Ashwin. The pre-production work on the film was almost complete. Along with this movie, Samantha is going to remake the Kannada movie Diya in Telugu.
Samantha had made her debut in films in 2010 with director Gautham Menon’s ‘Ye Maaya Chesave’. She has acted with all the top actors in both Tamil and Telugu film industries including Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, Vijay and Suriya.
