AMARAVATI: In a major good news to the Andhra Pradesh government headed by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the centre government has announced a reward worth Rs Rs 344 Crore to the AP government. The Centre government headed by Narendra Modi has taken this decision as AP has become successful in implementing three-quarters of the civil service reforms.
The AP government is reportedly at the forefront in implementing reforms like the One Nation-One Ration Card, Ease of Doing Business, urban and local organisations. As part of the reward, the Center will provide a total of Rs. 1004 crore reward. Of this, AP’s share is Rs 344 crore while Madhya Pradesh’s share is Rs 660 crore. Only AP and Madhya Pradesh were selected for this reward. This financial aid will certainly be a great help to the AP during this coronavirus crisis.
