NELLORE: An elderly practitioner B Anandaiah got to fame with his herbal medicine for coronavirus. Now thousands of people, including coronavirus patients, were reaching Krishnapatnam town of Nellore to get the medicine. It is completely Ayurvedic treatment for coronavirus and being provided at free cost to people.

Now Vice President of India, Venkaiah Naidu inquired about it, as the medicine is being distributed in his home district of Nellore. He has suggested the Minister in charge of AYUSH along with the ICMR Director General to study this medicine. As per the latest report the ICMR team has already reached Nellore and will examine the Ayurvedic medicine. After a detailed study over the ingredients used for the medicine and it’s functioning, the report will be submitted to the government.

Earlier the vaccine distribution program was halted for two day, and it resumed today and YSRCP MLA from Sarvepalli constituency Kakani Govardhan Reddy also took part in the medicine distribution program. But now the Nellore district collector announced that they have halted the vaccine distribution following COVID 19 protocol and sent the medicine samples for testing to Ayush health department and ICMR. ICMR will study the formula being used to prepare the medicine and will produce a report over that. Following which the Ap government will take a call on vaccine distribution.
