Madras High Court Issue Notices To Virat Kohli, Tamanna and Rana Daggubati

HYDERABAD: The Madurai bench of Madras High Court has issued notices to celebrities over their involvement in online sports app advertisements. The High Court has issued notices to cricketers Virat Kohli, BCCI chief Sourav Ganguly, and celebrities Rana Daggubati, Tamanna, Sudeep and Prakash Raj for appearing in pro-gambling advertisements.

The Madras HC which heard a petition filed against online gambling today, November 3  and the HC expressed its outrage at the celebrities how they would act in such Ads being public figures.

The HC questioned over the moral responsibility of the stars to act in such gambling apps which led youth to commit suicide after they lost money by playing matches online.

Even the Madras HC has directed the celebrities to respond over the notices issued to them by November 19.
