Kohli Overtakes Dhoni Records : India Beats England By 317 Runs, Moves to Number 2 In World Championship

CHENNAI: The team India recorded it’s biggest victory against England today. India won on England by  317 runs, level series 1-1 under the captaincy of Virat Kohli. This is the sixth time in history that Team India has won the Tests by over 300 runs. Five of those victories were under the leadership of captain Virat Kohli.

Coming to the performances in the match Ravichandran Ashwin was the star performer. None of the England batsmen were able to score significantly except Moeen Ali. Meanwhile Akshar Patel took five wickets while Ashwin took three and Kuldeep two.

With two matches remaining in the series. However, India drew the current series 1-1. The next match will start in Ahmedabad from the 24th of this month. If team India wins the match, Kohli will surpass Dhoni records as a captain and set a new record.
