AMARAVATI: The Andhra Pradesh politics witnessing great twists and turns during the municipal elections. The Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena is forming an alliance with the Chandrababu Naidu led Telugu Desam Party (TDP) for the upcoming municipal elections. Yes what you read is right! Janasena and TDP, which split a few years ago, have reunited. But Janasena is currently in alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and unitedly even contested for the AP panchayat elections recently. But now TDP and Janasena are contesting together in the municipal elections, not in all the municipalities but only for only Jangareddygudem municipality of West Godavari district.
This news has become a hot topic in all the political circles across the state. In total there are a total of 29 wards in Jangareddygudem. TDP is contesting in 24 wards and Janasena in 5 wards. Leaders of both parties are campaigning together. They are appealing to voters to vote for them. Leaders of both the parties expressed a hope that both TDP and Janasena will definitely take over Jangareddygudem municipality and will rule for five years. Meanwhile BJP leaders are left in a shock with Pawan Kalyna’s decision.
