Watch: Hyderabad Police Arrest 3 Youth at Durgam Cheruvu Cable bridge For Taking In Appropriate Photos

HYDERABAD: The Cyberabad police had warned people not to put their own lives at risk for a photograph on the Durgam Cheruvu cable-stayed bridge and also not to take in appropriate photos by making stunts. But Public are doing the same, In latest activity three people were taking shirtless photos on the Durgam Cheruvu able bridge at Midnight, the police who reached the spot had immediately arrested them.

The police tweeted the video on twitter.  Police have arrested three youths for rioting at night on the Durgam Cheruvu cable bridge in Hyderabad. The patrolling team arrested the youths who were doing nuisance in the middle of the road on the cable bridge. The video was posted on social media by the Cyberabad traffic police. In the video, a man is lying in the middle of the road posing for photos.  

With the availability of the cable bridge built over the fort pond, the traffic difficulties of the IT employees were alleviated. On the other hand, it is known that the cable bridge has become a tourist spot even before its opening. Large numbers of visitors come to see the beauty of the cable bridge. Many people are especially interested in seeing the beauty of the cable bridge in the electric lights in the evening.

Some, however, are reckless on the bridge for selfies. Some people are taking photos while standing across the road ignoring the traffic of vehicles going over the bridge. No matter how much the police say, some people continue to do the same. As a result, police have taken decisions to register cases against people who violate the rules.  Clicking of photos and selfies are allowed only on the footpath, but not on the centre of the road on cable bridge as that could result in accidents.

Police said that they are observing many visitors, specifically youngsters behaving in irresponsible manner.  Police further added that the surveillance cameras have captured many dangerous movements of visitors on the bridge. So police were continuously cautioning such people and were continuously monitoring the activities on Durgam Cheruvu Cable Bridge.

Meanwhile the bridge will be closed for vehicular traffic  from 10 pm of every Friday up to 6 am on Monday. On all other days, the bridge will be closed from 11 pm to 6 am for both vehicular traffic and pedestrians.
