Honor Killing: Brother Sister Fall In love, Elopes To Marry Each Other Were Poisoned To Death

In a shocking incident, a guy and girl who were brother and sister (children of two brothers) were killed by their parents after they eloped from their homes and tried to marry each other in Chhattisgarh. They both were poisoned by their family members and their bodies were burnt in Bhilai near Raipur on Sunday.

According to police reports, Srihari (21) and Aishwarya (20) who used to live in neighboring houses in Krishnanagar in Durg district of Chhattisgarh. They fell in love with each other and eloped from their homes with a plan to marry each other, last month. Srihari and Aishwarya went to Chennai and stayed there for few days.

The Durg police, registered a missing case following a complaint by both the family members. During the investigation police found out that they both were staying in Chennai. Police reached Chennai and brought them back to their hometown on October 7.

Following this Durg police who were patrolling in the Krishnanagar found some suspicious activities near the homes of both Srihari and Aishwarya. police investigating them and the accused admitted that they had poisoned and killed Srihari and Aishwarya.

The bodies were taken to the banks of the Shivnath River near their village and were cremated. Police recovered the partially burnt bodies. The police have registered a case against the accused and are investigating into it.
