HYDERABAD: As Telangana witnessing a steep rise in coronavirus cases reporting on daily basis, people across the state are in a dilemma that will Telangana government re impose the lockdown and curfew in the state to prevent the spread of coronavirus. As an answer to all those questions from people Telangana health Minister Etela Rajender said that there won’t be any lockdown or curfew in telangana. Etela sounded a word of caution and said that people should not panic over getting infected with the corona instead they should follow all the precautionary measures and get vaccinated to avoid the further spread of virus. He urged the people of the state not to step out of their homes until it is mandatory. Etela asked people to be positive and confident so that one can defeat the virus.
The Health Minister said that Telangana was successful in containing the virus spread in the first wave, and learning from those experiences now we are taking all the precautionary measures to avoid the further spread of the virus. Meanwhile Telangana on Sunday, reported the highest single day spike after the outbreak of coronavirus with 5,093 fresh infections and 15 deaths. With this the cumulative COVID 19 cases in the state rose to 3,51,424 and the death toll reached 1,824.
