NEW DELHI: Amid rising coronavirus cases across the country, India is facing tough times in it’s battle against the coronavirus. Surge of the second wave of coronavirus continues across the country, despite relief measures and vaccination drives India continues to report a steep rise in the daily reporting cases with more than 3.5 lakhs cases per day. Even some parts of the country fail to provide necessary medical and emergency services like Oxygen and beds to COVID 19 infected persons.
Look at this situation, several companies voluntarily coming forward to lend their support to India to battle against the virus. Amazon announced to donate 10000 oxygen concentrators, Microsoft is extending help in mobilizing resources to battle against coronavirus second wave. Now Google CEO Sundar Pichai on Monday announced that Google and Googlers will contribute Rs 135 crore to India for it’s fight against coronavirus crisis. This amount will be transferred to Give India which will provide financial assistance to families which were struggling hard to meet everyday expenses due to corona, and to UNICEF for emergency medical services.
