HYDERABAD: Centre government is gearing up for corona virus vaccination distribution in India from January. The center government has announced that it is ready for the launch of Coronavirus vaccination in another ten days. The Centre has approved the COVISHIELD which was prepared by serum institute courtesy of Astrazeneca, and COVAXIN vaccines developed by indigenous company Bharat Biotech.
The government will first vaccinate the 3 crore frontline workers who are tirelessly working even during the coronavirus lockdown to protect people from the virus. For this, a mega drive will be launched across the country. The vaccine will also be given to people over the age above 50 and those with chronic diseases. People with diabetes, cancer and lung disease under the age of 50 will be given priority in vaccination.

How To Register For Coronavirus Vaccine?
The center has brought the Co-WIN app and website for the distribution of the coronavirus vaccine. People can get complete information about the vaccine using this app. The Center will direct the State and Union Territories to register the details of those who need the vaccine.
Anyone can also apply in person on this app or website. The government will initially provide the vaccine only to those registered with Co-WIN. If vaccination is selected after application, a message will be sent to the registered mobile number. Registration for vaccination will also be available through the Common Service Centers. However, the Co-WIN app is still not available for the time being and the government will soon release it in the Google Play Store.
Once the App is available in play store, people who are willing to get vaccinated need to upload the required documents for personal registration, through the Co-WIN website, and should enter the valid reason why they are willing to get vaccinated and if they were selected for vaccination then the time slot information will come to the registered mobile number.

What Documents Are Required For Coronavirus Vaccine Registration?
An ID card with a photo of any of the following must be submitted at the time of registration.
Aadhaar / Driving License / Voter ID / PAN Card / Passport / Job Card / Pension Documents
Health Insurance Smart Card issued by the Ministry of Health
Mahatma Gandhi Employment Guarantee Scheme Identity Card
Officially issued identity cards by MPs, MLAs, MLCs
Passbooks issued by Bank / Post Offices,
Service ID cards issued by Central / State / Public Limited companies
