NEW DELHI: With the steep rise in coronavirus cases in the National capital New Delhi, as a measure to deal with the increasing cases now Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced a temporary lockdown for six-days starting from today 10 pm till 5 am on April 26.
Delhi CM sounded word of caution and urged people to strictly follow anti COVID 19 measures and get vaccinated. He added that the state’s Health system is reeling under huge stress with increasing cases, and there is also shortage of oxygen and ICU beds.
Speaking further, the CM added that the government is left out with no other option other than re imposing lockdown to contain the spread of coronavirus. however essential and emergency services will continue as usual, said Kejriwal. The situation in the National capital was critical with around 25,500 reporting on a daily basis. So in order to prevent the health system from collapsing due to the increasing number of coronavirus cases and there is shortage of medicines, said CM.
