HYDERABAD: In a major update over Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao’s Son KT Rama Rao taking over the responsibilities of CM Post from his father in next month February, CM KCR has reportedly confirmed the Muhurtam for KTR Oath Taking Ceremony. A source in KCR circle has revealed that KTR will be sworn in as the Chief Minister on February 18. Buzz is that CM KCR has confirmed this date in view of Rathsaptami which falls on teh same day. Rathsaptami is very special auspicious ceremony carried out in the Hindu tradition. It is also known as Suryajayanti, Vaivasvata Manvadi.
February 28 has a lot of significance in Hindu tradition as the day marks the birth of the lord sun. So KCR has confirmed that day to crown KTR as the Chief Minister. Meanwhile Rathsaptami falls on two days i.e February 18 and February 19 for two days. Even Chhatrapati Shivaji Jayanti falls on February 19. So KCR might choose either February 18 or 19 for oath taking ceremony of KTR. Meanwhile an official announcement over this is awaited.
KTR is currently handling the responsibilities of Telangana Rashtra Samithi working president and state IT minister. Even Health Minister Etela Rajender hinted over the possibility of KTR becoming the CM in February 2021, this has given rise to more speculation over KTR CM post.
