Good News: CM KCR Announces To Include Coronavirus Treatment In Arogya Sri Scheme Soon

HYDERABAD: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Wednesday said that state government is looking over all the possibilities to include the coronavirus treatment in Arogya Sri to provide affordable treatment to COVID-19 for all sections of people in the State.

CM KCR said that a high level meeting will be held on including COVID-19 treatment in Arogya Sri and a decision will be taken. He also said that the poor who got treated for coronavirus and spent money for treatment would be helped under Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF). He asked people to send him the bills related to corona tretament.

The CM spoke about anti COVID-19 measures being implemented in state after a brief discussion with state officials on corona. He said some of the suggestions made by Congress leader Bhatti Vikramarka, MIM member Akbaruddin and others would also be taken into consideration for the welfare of people.

CM KCR said that Arogya Sri is much better scheme than Ayushman Bharat, initiative by Centre. He said that Arogya Sri which was actually launched by YS Rajasekhar Reddy. But CM KCR continued with it because he feels that scheme is much useful for providing all medical support to economically backward people.
