AP Imposes Curfew For 14 Days From May 5, Details Inside

AMARAVATI: Amidst spiking coronavirus cases and deaths the Andhra Pradesh government on Monday has taken a decision to impose a partial curfew in the state for 14 days. This curfew will remain in effect from May 5 to May 18. As a part of which all the shops will remain open from 6 AM to 12 PM.  However emergency services will be allowed later. This 18 hours curfew will be imposed across all the districts of the state and Section 144 will also be imposed from 6AM to 12 PM.

Meanwhile AP on Sunday reported 23,920 fresh coronavirus cases and 83 deaths. The state’s cumulative coronavirus tally touched 11 lakh mark and out of them 9,90,813 patients were completely cured. Currently there are 1.4 lakh actice COVID 19 cases in AP, and the death toll stands at 8,136.
