AMARAVATI: Andhra Pradesh government is all set to conduct examination for recruitment of posts in village and ward secretariats from tomorrow, September 20. A total of 10,56,931 people have applied for 16,208 posts, and tests will be starting from tomorrow. Fourteen exams will be conducted in in seven days from September 20 to 27.
The Sachivalayam exams will be conducted in 2,221 centres in the morning and in 1,068 centres in the afternoon. In view of Coronavirus outbreak teh government had arranged for isolation rooms for corona positive candidates.
All the Invigilators will be wearing PPE kits in isolation rooms.
In the last year 1.10 lakh people were recruited for Sachivalayam posts said Panchayat Raj Minister Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy. Now there are 14,062 jobs in village secretariats and 2,166 vacancies in ward secretariats.
For writing the exams a total of 10 lakh candidates have downloaded hall tickets.
