Telangana Govt Announces To Build 2000 Acres Film City In Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: In a major update to Telugu film Industry celebrities Chief Minister of Telangana K. Chandrashekar Rao who has met film personalities today has announced  to construct an international level film city on the outskirts of Hyderabad city.

Tollywood top celebrities’ like Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna and several others met CM KCR at Pragati Bhavan on Today. CM KCR assured them to allot 1500-2000  acres of land for the construction of this film city. The CM KCR directed officials to send a team of film personalities and officials to Bulgaria to inspect the film city there and make proposals for the construction of a film city in Hyderabad.

CM KCR announced that film shootings and movie theaters could be reopened as the unlock process has begun. During this meeting, a discussion was held on the development and expansion of the film industry in Telangana. R&B Minister Vemula Prashant Reddy, Planning Commission Vice-Chairman B Vinod Kumar, Rajya Sabha member J Santosh Kumar, Chief Government Adviser Rajiv Sharma, Chief Secretary to Government Somesh Kumar, Chief Secretaries Nursing Rao, Ramakrishna Rao and Seshadri were present at this meeting.
