by Bellamkonda

HYDERABAD: Bigg Boss Telugu Season 4 which started with a great hype for the show failed to impress the audience right from the beginning of the season, which ultimately resulted in failure of the show. Most of the Bigg Boss Telugu audience feels that this season lacks entertainment.

Bigg Boss Telugu Season 4 host Nagarjuna and Bigg Boss makers created much hype and expectations in the audience over the show with extra boosting for the show with Promos. Even Nagarjuna campaigned for the show with the caption “Entertainment like Never before”.Bigg Boss Telugu seasons 1, 2 and even season 3 were successful but in the season 4 Bigg Boss Telugu show  failed to impress the Bigg Boss audience.

The show makers had started the Bigg Boss Telugu 4 during the coronavirus lockdown period and had gained a high TRP rating of 18.5 in the beginning , but Bigg Boss makers failed to sustain the TRP rating with their Biggest mistakes. Even the Bigg Boss show lags behind TRP when compared to serial Karthika Deepam, which is one of the most popular series in Television.

Bigg Boss Biggest Mistakes In Telugu Season 4:

1) Bigg Boss Wrong Selection Of Contestants:

Bigg Boss makers made their first mistake in selecting the contestants for the show, they have selected most of the contestants for this season from non Telugu background, and most of them were not even familiar to Telugu audience.

So the Bigg Boss audience were upset with the selection of 16 contestants of this season.

2) Bigg Boss Eliminating Strong Contestants Against Audience Voting:

The Second mistake by Bigg Boss makers is that they started saving contestants like Monal, Amma Rajashekar and Mehaboob who were disliked by most of the Bigg boss audience for maintaining TRP ratings. To save these contestants from Elimination Bigg Boss eliminated a few of the strong contestants like Devi Nagavalli, Sai Kumar and Swathi Deekshith.

3) Bigg Boss Saving Monal From Elimination:

Bigg Boss makers saving Monal Gajjar from elimination against audience voting is also one of the reasons behind sudden fall of TRP rating of the Bigg Boss show.

Bigg Boss had eliminated Kumar Sai who had performed well in all the tasks in the Bigg Boss house. A section of the family audience stopped watching Bigg Boss due to Monal Gajjar dressing and her triangular love story with Akhil and Abhijeet. But Bigg Boss continues to save Monal against audience polls to maintain TRP rating.

4) Bigg Boss Contestants Language Problem :

In Bigg Boss Telugu Season 4 most of the audience were from non Telugu background, and their language became the biggest problem to the audience in understanding the show. Monal conversation with the housemates was mostly irritating to Telugu audience due to her language problem.

Even Harika and Abhijeet who were from Telugu background  continue to speak in English in most of the time which made the audience doubt Whether it is a Telugu Bigg Boss or English Bigg Boss show. Even Bigg Boss gave punishment to housemates like Harika and Abhijeet for speaking in English but even after that they continued to speak in English.

5) Bigg Boss Over Attitude Contestants:

Above all there were some contestants like Akhil, Harika, Amma Rajshekar who were mostly trolled on Social media platforms for their attitude problem.

Bigg Boss audience stopped watching the show with all the above reasons which led to decrease in TRP ratings of the show from 18.5 to 8.35 in the second week during non weekends and 11.08 in weekends. Now the TRP rating of the show is only 3.73.
